Listeners¶
In the console: Settings › Network › Listeners
The ports the server listens on for mail, mail apps and the web.
Listener settings¶
Listener Id¶
Unique identifier for the listener.
Text. Set when it’s created; can’t be changed afterwards. Name in the API: name.
Protocol¶
The protocol used by the listener.
One of: SMTP (smtp), LMTP (lmtp), HTTP (http), IMAP4 (imap), POP3 (pop3), ManageSieve (manageSieve). Default: SMTP. Name in the API: protocol.
Bind addresses¶
The addresses the listener will bind to.
A list. Each one: text. Name in the API: bind.
Max Connections¶
The maximum number of concurrent connections the listener will accept.
A number. Default: 8192. Name in the API: maxConnections.
TLS options¶
Enable TLS¶
Whether to enable TLS for this listener.
On or off. Default: On. Name in the API: useTls.
Implicit TLS¶
Whether to use implicit TLS.
On or off. Name in the API: tlsImplicit.
Disabled Protocols¶
Which TLS protocols to disable.
A list. Each one: one of: TLS version 1.2 (tls12), TLS version 1.3 (tls13). Name in the API: tlsDisableProtocols.
Disabled Ciphersuites¶
Which cipher suites to disable.
A list. Each one: one of: TLS1.3 AES256 GCM SHA384 (tls13-aes-256-gcm-sha384), TLS1.3 AES128 GCM SHA256 (tls13-aes-128-gcm-sha256), TLS1.3 CHACHA20 POLY1305 SHA256 (tls13-chacha20-poly1305-sha256), ECDHE ECDSA AES256 GCM SHA384 (tls-ecdhe-ecdsa-with-aes-256-gcm-sha384), ECDHE ECDSA AES128 GCM SHA256 (tls-ecdhe-ecdsa-with-aes-128-gcm-sha256), ECDHE ECDSA CHACHA20 POLY1305 SHA256 (tls-ecdhe-ecdsa-with-chacha20-poly1305-sha256), ECDHE RSA AES256 GCM SHA384 (tls-ecdhe-rsa-with-aes-256-gcm-sha384), ECDHE RSA AES128 GCM SHA256 (tls-ecdhe-rsa-with-aes-128-gcm-sha256), ECDHE RSA CHACHA20 POLY1305 SHA256 (tls-ecdhe-rsa-with-chacha20-poly1305-sha256). Name in the API: tlsDisableCipherSuites.
Handshake Timeout¶
TLS handshake timeout.
A length of time. Default: 1m. Name in the API: tlsTimeout.
Ignore client order¶
Whether to ignore the client's cipher order.
On or off. Default: On. Name in the API: tlsIgnoreClientOrder.
Proxy networks¶
Override proxy networks¶
Enable proxy protocol for connections from these networks.
A list. Each one: an IP address or network, like 192.0.2.0/24. Name in the API: overrideProxyTrustedNetworks.
Socket options¶
Backlog¶
The maximum number of incoming connections that can be pending in the backlog queue.
A number. Default: 1024. Name in the API: socketBacklog.
TTL¶
Time-to-live (TTL) value for the socket, which determines how many hops a packet can make before it is discarded.
A number. Name in the API: socketTtl.
Type of Service¶
The type of service (TOS) value for the socket, which determines the priority of the traffic sent through the socket.
A number. Name in the API: socketTosV4.
Send buffer¶
The size of the buffer used for sending data.
A number. Name in the API: socketSendBufferSize.
Receive buffer¶
The size of the buffer used for receiving data.
A number. Name in the API: socketReceiveBufferSize.
No delay¶
Whether the Nagle algorithm should be disabled for the socket.
On or off. Default: On. Name in the API: socketNoDelay.
Reuse Address¶
Whether the socket can be bound to an address that is already in use by another socket.
On or off. Default: On. Name in the API: socketReuseAddress.
Reuse port¶
Whether multiple sockets can be bound to the same address and port.
On or off. Default: On. Name in the API: socketReusePort.
