INBUXA documentation

INBUXA is a mail server and the services that run alongside it — today, INBUXA Admin, the console that administers it, and INBUXA Webmail, where people read their mail. Each is its own program, so you can keep them on one machine or scatter them across three and decide, service by service, what the internet is allowed to reach.

There is one edition. Tenants, masked addresses, undelete, provisioning, monitoring and scale-out storage are all in it, and none of them checks a license before it runs.

What INBUXA is built from

The server is a fork of the Stalwart mail server and keeps its data format unchanged, which is what makes migrating a copy rather than a conversion. The console is a fork of Stalwart's web interface. The webmail is built from ihasmail, and you will see that name in a few places it is an identifier rather than a brand — a folder, a theme, a filter script.
