MX Resolution

IP Resolution

IP resolution strategy for MX hosts.

One of: IPv4 then IPv6 (v4ThenV6), IPv6 then IPv4 (v6ThenV4), IPv4 Only (v4Only), IPv6 Only (v6Only). Default: IPv4 then IPv6. Name in the API: ipLookupStrategy.

MX Hosts

Maximum number of MX hosts to try on each delivery attempt.

A number. Default: 5. Name in the API: maxMxHosts.

Multi-homed IPs

For multi-homed remote servers, it is the maximum number of IP addresses to try on each delivery attempt.

A number. Default: 2. Name in the API: maxMultihomed.

Route Details

Name

Short identifier for the route.

Text. Set when it’s created; can’t be changed afterwards. Name in the API: name.

Description

A short description of the route, which can be used to identify it in the list of routes.

Text. Name in the API: description.
