Inbound Rate Limits¶
In the console: Settings › MTA › Rates & Quotas › Inbound Rate Limits
How fast other servers and your own users may connect and send, so a flood or a stolen password can’t run away.
Inbound Rate Limiter¶

Text. Set when it’s created; can’t be changed afterwards. Name in the API: description.
Keys¶
Optional list of context variables that determine where this throttle should be applied.
A list. Each one: one of: Listener (listener), Remote IP (remoteIp), Local IP (localIp), Authenticated As (authenticatedAs), EHLO Domain (heloDomain), Sender (sender), Sender Domain (senderDomain), Recipient (rcpt), Recipient Domain (rcptDomain). Name in the API: key.
Rate limit¶
Number of incoming requests over a period of time that the rate limiter will allow.
Settings of their own: see Rate. Name in the API: rate.
Match condition¶
Enable the imposition of concurrency and rate limits only when a specific condition is met.
Settings of their own: see Expression. Name in the API: match.
Enabled¶
Whether to enable this throttle.
On or off. Default: On. Name in the API: enable.
