DNS server tsig¶
Connection¶
Hostname¶
The IP address of the DNS server.
An IP address. Name in the API: host.
Port¶
The port used to communicate with the DNS server.
A number. Default: 53. Name in the API: port.
Protocol¶
The protocol used to communicate with the DNS server.
One of: UDP (udp), TCP (tcp). Default: UDP. Name in the API: protocol.
Authentication¶
TSIG Algorithm¶
The TSIG algorithm used to authenticate with the DNS server.
One of: HMAC-MD5 (hmac-md5), GSS (gss), HMAC-SHA1 (hmac-sha1), HMAC-SHA224 (hmac-sha224), HMAC-SHA256 (hmac-sha256), HMAC-SHA256-128 (hmac-sha256-128), HMAC-SHA384 (hmac-sha384), HMAC-SHA384-192 (hmac-sha384-192), HMAC-SHA512 (hmac-sha512), HMAC-SHA512-256 (hmac-sha512-256). Default: HMAC-SHA512. Name in the API: tsigAlgorithm.
Key Name¶
The key used to authenticate with the DNS server.
Text. Name in the API: keyName.
Key Secret¶
The secret or token used to authenticate with the DNS server.
Settings of their own: see Secret key. Name in the API: key.
Timing¶
Timeout¶
Request timeout for the DNS server.
A length of time. Default: 30s. Name in the API: timeout.
TTL¶
The TTL for new DNS record.
A length of time. Default: 5m. Name in the API: ttl.
Polling Interval¶
How often to check for DNS records to propagate.
A length of time. Default: 15s. Name in the API: pollingInterval.
Propagation Timeout¶
How long to wait for DNS records to propagate.
A length of time. Default: 1m. Name in the API: propagationTimeout.
Initial Propagation Delay¶
Initial delay before first propagation check (useful for slow providers)
A length of time. Name in the API: propagationDelay.
