Blocked IP addresses

In the console: Settings › Security › Blocked IPs

Addresses refused before they can talk to the server. The server adds some itself when it spots attacks.

Block IP address

IP Address

An address or network, like 203.0.113.7 or 203.0.113.0/24, refused before it can talk.

An IP address or network, like 192.0.2.0/24. Set when it’s created; can’t be changed afterwards. Name in the API: address.

Reason for blocking

A note for yourself on why it was blocked.

One of: Excessive failed RCPT TO commands (rcptToFailure), Excessive failed authentication attempts (authFailure), Excessive loitering connections (loitering), Excessive port scanning attempts (portScanning), Manually blocked IP address (manual), Other reason (other). Default: Manually blocked IP address. Name in the API: reason.

Expiration date

When the block lifts by itself. Empty means it stays until you remove it.

A date and time. Name in the API: expiresAt.

Created At

The date and time when this IP address was blocked.

A date and time. Read only. Name in the API: createdAt.
